Lecturer in Social Work – Focus on Trauma Therapy (f/m/x)
Your tasks
- You will work with the program coordinator to advance a two-year master’s course in social work with a focus on counseling. The goal is to equip participants with the skills to professionally treat trauma and post-traumatic stress disorders.
- You will design the curriculum and prepare practice-oriented teaching sessions.
- You will conduct seminars and lectures for master’s students.
- You will supervise students’ clinical work and support them during their practical training.
- You will contribute your expertise in trauma therapy and actively participate in the further development of the study program.
- You will collaborate closely with the faculty of the Mother Patern College of Health Sciences (MPCHS) and promote professional exchange.
- You will be responsible for the proper expenditure and management of funds on site in accordance with donor guidelines and AGIAMONDO specifications. In doing so, you will work in partnership with colleagues from the partner organisation.
- You hold a master’s degree in social work, clinical psychology, or psychotherapy.
- You have experience in therapeutic techniques for treating trauma.
- You speak fluent English and can communicate complex content clearly.
- You have a valid driver’s license and driving experience.
- You are willing to work in an intercultural environment and share your knowledge.
- You identify as a member of a Christian church and support the goals and values of church-based development and peace work.
