Responsible and Challenging
AGIAMONDO e.V. is the personnel service of German Catholics for development cooperation. In the Civil Peace Service, we offer professionals the opportunity for meaningful service in cooperation with local development actors. The Civil Peace Service (CPS) is a personnel program for violence prevention and peacebuilding in crisis and conflict regions. It is committed to a world in which conflicts are resolved without violence. Together with church and civil society partner organizations in Rwanda, AGIAMONDO aims to make a contribution to civil conflict resolution and sustainable, equitable development in the country through peace-building measures.
CDJP Cyangugu is one of the nine Justice and Peace Commissions of the dioceses of Rwanda and is under the supervision of the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace. The pastoral focus of this commission is on peace-building and reconciliation work. In its projects, the partner organization is committed to justice, peace and reconciliation as well as the protection of human rights. One focus is on sensitizing young people and adults to the importance and promotion of the values of peace and justice.
