Cooperation with AGIAMONDO and TERELEPAR

Responsible and challenging

AGIAMONDO e.V. is the personnel service of German Catholics for development cooperation. In the Civil Peace Service, we offer professionals the opportunity for meaningful service in cooperation with local development actors. The Civil Peace Service (ZFD) is a personnel program for violence prevention and peacebuilding in crisis and conflict regions. It is committed to a world in which conflicts are resolved without violence. Together with church and civil society partner organizations in Uganda, AGIAMONDO aims to make a contribution to civil conflict resolution and sustainable, equitable development in the country through peace-building measures

TERELEPAR was founded in 2001 by religious leaders of various faith communities in the former Teso region in order to contribute to peacekeeping in the region and to promote peaceful coexistence. TERELEPAR educates people about their rights in the area of land use and ownership and attempts to contribute to non-violent mediation in acute cases of land expropriation and conflict. The partner organization pursues the goal of strengthening capacities for the non-violent resolution of land conflicts and establishing appropriate spaces for dialogue that facilitate a change in thinking towards non-violence and create paths to reconciliation. The organization's network offers many opportunities for exchange and cooperation with other peace actors.
