Your cooperation with AGIAMONDO and Beit Noah

Responsible and challenging

AGIAMONDO e.V. is the personnel service of German Catholics for development cooperation. In the Civil Peace Service, we offer professionals the opportunity for meaningful service in cooperation with local development actors. The Civil Peace Service (ZFD) is a personnel program for violence prevention and peacebuilding in crisis and conflict regions. It is committed to a world in which conflicts are resolved without violence.

Beit Noah, an International Youth and Disability Meeting Centre in the Benedictine monastery of Tabgha, has been offering people with disabilities a refuge from the effects of the ongoing political-military conflict in the Holy Land for over 35 years. Children and people with disabilities in particular suffer under these conditions. Beit Noah creates space for normality by giving host groups the opportunity to meet each other, form friendships and share common values such as the care of creation. In the midst of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, there is a lack of neutral meeting places where Israelis and Palestinians can meet as fellow human beings, and Beit Noah fulfils this important role.
